About the internship

This internship is with a coaching institute that provides personalized, concept-based learning for school students through both online and offline delivery. The role is centered on helping learners build real understanding rather than rote memorization, with a strong focus on mathematics and science support.

The academy mainly works with students from Grades 6 to 12, offering structured math coaching for secondary and senior secondary levels. A major objective of the program is to reduce anxiety around mathematics by explaining difficult concepts in clear, logical steps.

What you will do

Take one-to-one classes as well as small-group sessions of up to 10 students.
Teach Mathematics and Science for students up to Grade 10.
Deliver Mathematics teaching for Grades 11 and 12.
Create and run periodic assessments to check student learning and progress.
Plan revision classes that help students strengthen core concepts.
Monitor student performance and share regular updates with both students and parents.
Manage daily timetables and batch coordination.
Keep attendance and academic records accurate and up to date.
Communicate clearly and promptly with parents about progress, performance, and concerns.
Support the institute’s day-to-day functioning and help maintain a productive learning atmosphere.

Who can apply

This opportunity is open to candidates who can work part time, are able to begin between 3 July 2026 and 7 August 2026, and can commit to the full 6-month duration. Applicants should also have relevant skills and a genuine interest in teaching.

Preferred qualifications and requirements

Candidates pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (B.Tech), Mathematics (B.Sc./M.Sc.), or Physics are preferred.
Strong command over Mathematics and Science up to Grade 10 is required.
Advanced Mathematics teaching ability for Grades 11 and 12 is expected.
Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred.
A solid conceptual foundation in Mathematics and Science is important.
The candidate should be comfortable teaching both individually and in micro-groups of up to 10 students.
Excellent communication and student engagement abilities are needed.
Strong mentoring, problem-solving, and classroom management skills are desirable.

Compensation and other details

The internship offers a monthly stipend of INR 10,800 to 18,900. The stipend structure includes fixed pay of INR 9,800 to 13,500 per month plus incentive pay of INR 1,000 to 5,400 per month.
