About the Role
Prime Travelers Club is inviting applications for a skilled Operations Assistant to join its expanding team in Negril, Jamaica. This full-time position focuses on supporting the daily functions of the Sales Rooms within a dynamic vacation club and hospitality setting. The ideal candidate will help guarantee smooth operations, adherence to compliance standards, and deliver an outstanding experience to members.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide continuous operational support and troubleshoot daily issues impacting Sales Room activities.
- Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and contractual obligations.
- Develop, document, and oversee operational procedures for Hostess, Contracts, VLO, and Quality Assurance teams.
- Track daily data and compile monthly reports on cancellations and overall Sales Room performance.
- Train and assist department leaders and their staff to enhance operational efficiency.
- Evaluate performance indicators and monthly reviews to highlight potential improvements.
- Assist in implementing special projects, such as new system adoption and software deployment.
- Manage consumer complaints and special cases, following up to ensure issues are resolved or escalated appropriately.
- Oversee internal audits and reinforce compliance with operational standards.
- Collaborate with Verification Managers to monitor overdue accounts.
- Create and manage administrative and disciplinary reports as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree completed, preferably in Business Administration, Tourism, Marketing, Finance, or related disciplines.
- Postgraduate education in Business Administration or Finance is advantageous.
- At least three years of work experience, ideally within the vacation club or hospitality sectors.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and general proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to juggle multiple operational tasks and collaborate efficiently with different departments and leadership.
