Position Overview

The Assistant Fruit and Vegetable Manager role serves as an entry point to a rewarding career within Woolworths Group, offering opportunities to develop vital leadership skills and a deep understanding of department operations. This role contributes significantly to daily departmental functions, collaborates across the store, and supports delivering excellent customer service alongside fostering a positive team environment.

Work Schedule

The work roster includes fixed shifts distributed over four days a week with the following timetable:

  • Tuesday: 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Wednesday: 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Thursday: 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Saturday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Role Specific Duties

  • Embody and promote excellent customer interaction practices focusing on acknowledgment, care, and genuine appreciation.
  • Prioritize and enforce safety protocols for both team members and customers within the store environment.
  • Gain operational knowledge of the department to effectively back the team in daily activities.
  • Collaborate efficiently with colleagues to drive successful outcomes across the store.
  • Develop self-awareness regarding leadership approaches and cultivate a commitment to personal leadership growth.
