Data & AI Project Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data & AI Project Manager to lead and oversee end-to-end delivery of projects focused on data, analytics, governance, and artificial intelligence within the banking sector in Qatar. The role demands strong leadership for ensuring timely execution, managing multiple stakeholders, and driving initiatives aligned with strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of project delivery phases from planning and execution to governance and formal closure.
• Collaborate and coordinate with diverse stakeholders including business units, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment and smooth progress.
• Implement Agile project management techniques such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and progress monitoring using tools like JIRA.
• Facilitate Project Review Working Groups to provide real-time updates, manage risks, and support decision-making processes.
• Supervise vendor activities ensuring delivery meets timeline, budget, and quality expectations.
• Track project dependencies, address risks and issues, and escalate when necessary across multiple workstreams.
• Guarantee successful realization of Data, Analytics, Governance, and AI projects in line with organizational objectives.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least twelve years of proven experience in managing sizable Data and AI-focused projects, preferably in banking or financial services sectors.
• Strong technical knowledge of data infrastructures, analytics platforms, and AI technologies.
• Demonstrated skill in handling complex stakeholder ecosystems and delivering under pressing deadlines.
• Practical command of Agile methodologies, particularly using JIRA and relevant collaboration tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership capabilities, and vendor management expertise.
• Experience in GCC or Qatar banking sectors highly advantageous.

Additional Information
