Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Yard Tractor Driver CE (m/f/d) to join our team in Hamburg. This role focuses on managing the yard operations including moving swap bodies and trailers, ensuring smooth coordination with dispatch and transshipment teams, and maintaining equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform yard duties by repositioning swap bodies and trailers efficiently.
- Maintain regular communication with dispatch and transshipment personnel to guarantee timely processing.
- Inspect swap bodies and trailers for damages and promptly report any irregularities.
- Take care of yard equipment and the operation of the shunting vehicle.
- Assist warehouse colleagues with loading and unloading trucks using forklifts and other powered industrial trucks.
- Work shifts are scheduled from midnight to 8:30 AM, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, or 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM.
- Operate using up-to-date and advanced equipment.
