Role Overview
This position is a full-time onsite Delivery Driver role based across Jeddah, Mecca, Taif, and Qunfudah. The incumbent will be responsible for the safe handling and transportation of packages, ensuring timely pickup and delivery to customers and partner locations. Key daily responsibilities include route planning, vehicle loading and unloading, verifying relevant delivery documentation, and securing customer confirmation upon delivery.
Additional duties include maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle, reporting necessary maintenance, abiding by local traffic laws and company safety requirements, and maintaining clear communication with dispatch teams and clients. The role may also require supporting warehouse operations to enhance operational efficiency and fostering positive customer interactions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Exceptional customer service capabilities with clear communication and professional client interactions.
- Support for sales activities like service promotion and addressing basic customer queries.
- Experience or willingness to undergo training on company protocols, safety standards, and route planning.
- Basic experience or familiarity with forklift or other material-handling equipment is a plus.
- Previous experience in logistics or handling perishable goods is an advantage.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record is essential.
- Capability to safely lift and transport packages and endure extended periods of standing.
- Knowledge of local routes within Jeddah, Makkah, Taif, and Qunfudah supported by proficiency with GPS or map navigation tools.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and meticulousness in documentation and delivery practices.
- Strict adherence to safety policies and effective teamwork within a logistics environment.
