Position Overview

Due to recent expansion, PrixCar is inviting hardworking and enthusiastic candidates to join its Vehicle Processing Team at the new Wishart facility as Yard Hands. This role involves various tasks related to preparing new vehicles for delivery, including accessory fitting, damage inspection, preservation activities, and general yard operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to detect any damage or missing components/accessories
• Install automotive accessories
• Safely maneuver vehicles within the yard and workshop areas
• Conduct vehicle surveys and preservation duties
• Wash vehicles to ensure quality presentation
• Complete all necessary documentation accurately

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a minimum of 3 years driving experience
• Strong focus on attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
• Understanding of automotive parts and components functions
• Experience using both hand and power tools
• Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Ability to lift and handle automotive parts such as sports bars and bumper bars
• Genuine interest in the automotive sector
• Dependable, punctual, and professionally presented
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
• Experience with vehicle washing and presentation techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience fitting vehicle accessories
• Mechanical or electrical aptitude is advantageous
• Possession of a current Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
