Role Overview

Due to recent expansion, PrixCar is hiring an enthusiastic and dedicated Rail Yard Team Member for their Kewdale operations. This role involves supporting the smooth and prompt movement of vehicles within the PrixCar rail compound, handling incoming, outgoing, and stored vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, securely load, and fasten vehicles onto rail wagons.
• Unload vehicles transported by rail for Pacific National.
• Follow all site-specific procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Safely maneuver vehicles around the compound.
• Inspect vehicles upon arrival for any damage and file reports accordingly.
• Carry out vehicle stock takes and inventory checks.
• Perform minor vehicle maintenance tasks, such as repairing flat tires and jump-starting vehicles when necessary.
• Report any damages, faulty equipment, or accidents encountered or caused.

Qualifications and Attributes

• Possession of a driver's license held for at least three years is mandatory.
• Dependable, motivated, and energized individual.
• Willingness to collaborate and support colleagues as needed.
• Demonstrates initiative and adaptability in work approach.
• Proven ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and meet strict deadlines.
• High attention to detail with pride in delivering quality results.
• Capability to operate mobile plant equipment safely.
