Yard Coordinator

Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable and proactive Yard Coordinator to manage daily yard activities, ensuring smooth, safe, and timely operations. This pivotal role involves overseeing the movement, storage, and readiness of equipment and materials throughout the yard.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise daily yard operations and workflows.
• Manage the loading, unloading, and transport of equipment and materials within the yard.
• Keep precise records for stock and equipment inventory.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe yard environment.
• Coordinate scheduling for deliveries, pickups, and dispatches.
• Work closely with drivers, supervisors, management, and operators to ensure smooth coordination.
• Ensure all equipment is prepared and accessible when needed.
• Identify and report any damaged, missing, or faulty items promptly.
• Prioritize yard tasks and ensure they are completed on schedule.
• Provide general operational and logistical support to the team.
• Uphold workplace health and safety standards continuously.
