About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Wu Shu (Wushu) Trainer to lead and guide students at all levels in mastering the art of Wushu. This role involves providing comprehensive training sessions focused on techniques, fitness, and performance preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Wushu training sessions tailored for beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners.
- Instruct students on proper Wushu techniques including stances, kicks, punches, jumps, forms (Taolu), and basic weapon handling when appropriate.
- Demonstrate correct movements and offer personalized coaching to enhance techniques.
- Design structured training routines adapted to varying age groups, abilities, and fitness levels.
- Conduct warm-up, stretching, conditioning, flexibility, strength, and coordination exercises.
- Track progress and provide feedback with corrective advice regularly.
- Implement safety measures to prevent injuries during trainings.
- Prepare students for grading exams, demonstrations, competitions, and live performances.
- Coach competitors on routine execution, physical conditioning, and presentation skills.
- Foster a disciplined environment that encourages sportsmanship, confidence, teamwork, and respect.
- Oversee and maintain training equipment and ensure the training space remains safe and orderly.
- Assist in organizing related events such as workshops, competitions, and promotional activities.
- Maintain records detailing attendance, training progress, and student development when necessary.
- Communicate consistently with students and parents about schedules, performance, and improvement areas.
- Perform additional coaching and training tasks as directed by management.
