Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Trainer & Content Developer to join our Singapore team. This hybrid, full-time role requires delivering psychosocial trainings, assisting teams through transitions, and creating compelling, evidence-based training materials. Effectiveness in both English and Mandarin communication is essential, along with occasional in-person session delivery across Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate psychosocial training sessions for clients, leveraging psychological expertise and organizational development skills.
- Lead group Emotional Impact Sessions addressing organizational change, restructuring, loss, or conflicts.
- Conduct team Realignment sessions to resolve challenges or discord within groups.
- Carry out assessment interviews for Team Audits and deliver brief psychoeducation sessions where required.
- Provide occasional counseling support to clinical teams as needed.
- Develop and update engaging training content based on current research and best practices in psychosocial fields.
- Manage data by recording event details such as attendance and feedback, and prepare event impact reports with recommendations.
Candidate Requirements
- A professional degree in Social Sciences with relevant counseling credentials (e.g., Psychologist, Social Worker, Registered Counselor, Coach).
- Current registration with an appropriate professional regulatory body.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in training and/or counseling, ideally within Employee Assistance Programs or corporate settings.
- Candidates demonstrating strong proficiency in both training and counseling may be considered even with less experience.
- Experience or demonstrated skills in designing training content, primarily centered on psychosocial topics.
Essential Skills and Attributes
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required.
- Exemplary professionalism and maturity with excellent client-facing communication skills.
- Effective time management and personal scheduling capabilities.
- Ability to work independently with initiative and a strong work ethic.
- Comprehensive understanding of psychosocial concepts and the ability to convey them clearly.
- Capacity to research and curate contemporary best practices and information in psychosocial domains.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Good administrative proficiency for managing data, documents, and correspondence.
Additional Information
Due to the hybrid working setup, a stable and reliable internet connection is mandatory. Candidates should have access to transport and be willing to travel within Singapore occasionally for onsite sessions.
