Key Responsibilities

• Conduct mechanical repairs, refurbishments, modifications, welding, and fabrications on machinery and equipment.
• Operate machine shop tools including lathe, milling machine, shaper, planer, drill press, grinders, and band saws.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance following established standards and protocols.
• Inspect and upkeep workshop tools, specialized equipment, and spare parts to ensure proper functioning.
• Interpret engineering, pneumatic, hydraulic, and P&ID technical drawings accurately.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance team to support continuous improvement and enhance equipment reliability.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and adhere strictly to HSE, GMP, 5S, HACCP, and food safety regulations.

Candidate Requirements

• Technical diploma or certificate in Mechanical Trade, Turning, Welding, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in machine shop work, welding, and mechanical maintenance, ideally in Food/FMCG or similar industrial settings.
• Proficient in arc, gas, and argon/TIG welding techniques.
• Skilled in operating lathe, milling, drilling, grinding, and other workshop machine equipment.
• Knowledgeable about mechanical parts, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, and lubrication systems.
• Ability to read and understand technical and engineering drawings.
• Basic familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office is advantageous.
• Proficient in English at a business communication level.
• Resides in Jeddah or ready to relocate.
