About the Role
We are looking for a Workforce Welfare Officer to join our team and ensure compliance with workforce welfare standards across large-scale EPC projects. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining adherence to UAE labour laws, international welfare frameworks like IFC and ILO, and specific client requirements, while promoting a safe and supportive environment for all workers.

Key Responsibilities
- Guarantee adherence to UAE labour laws, MOHRE guidelines, and international workforce welfare standards (IFC, ILO).
- Manage and coordinate workforce welfare audits, ensuring documentation and reporting systems are always audit-ready.
- Track audit outcomes, identify compliance gaps, and implement corrective action procedures.
- Support grievance mechanisms and address welfare-related worker concerns effectively.
- Facilitate welfare inductions, awareness initiatives, and forums for workforce engagement.
- Compile welfare reports, workforce statistics, WPS records, and subcontractor documentation.
- Collaborate with internal departments, subcontractors, clients, and auditors to meet welfare standards.
- Promote worker wellbeing initiatives and happiness programs that enhance morale.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in workforce welfare roles within construction or heavy industries, ideally Oil & Gas sector.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Social Work, Industrial Relations, Public Administration, or closely related discipline.
- Demonstrate strong expertise in UAE labour legislation, international welfare standards (IFC, ILO), and Occupational Health & Safety exposure.
- Experience in supervising teams and managing large workforce groups is essential.
