Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete payroll processing lifecycle in Workday for North American clients, covering payroll validations, approvals, scheduled payroll runs, off-cycle processing, and retroactive payroll adjustments.
- Conduct detailed payroll reconciliations including gross-to-net, payroll-to-general ledger, bank, tax, and benefits reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain and update payroll master data such as Earnings and Deductions, Tax Elections, Garnishments, One-Time Payments, and perform EIB data loads.
- Monitor and resolve issues related to payroll integrations with Time & Attendance systems, Benefits providers, General Ledger systems, and banking interfaces.
- Handle payroll-related inquiries through ticketing systems while adhering to service level agreements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven extensive experience operating Workday for US Payroll.
- Comprehensive knowledge of US and Canadian payroll processes and compliance standards.
- Skilled in payroll reconciliation techniques and resolving associated discrepancies.
- Familiar with payroll integration systems and data management procedures.
- Strong communication abilities and expertise in managing stakeholder relations.
