Workday Integration Consultant

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients to collect requirements and gain a thorough understanding of their payroll-related business workflows.
• Design and execute Workday Payroll integration solutions encompassing inbound/outbound interfaces, data conversions, and tailor-made reports.
• Configure and set Workday Payroll system parameters to meet client-specific needs.
• Create and upkeep integration documentation such as technical specs, design blueprints, and testing strategies.
• Conduct unit, system, and user acceptance tests to validate payroll integrations.
• Diagnose and solve integration problems, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors as necessary.
• Deliver continuous support and maintenance for current Workday Payroll integrations, ensuring compliance and data precision.
• Keep informed on new Workday product releases and apply updated features to existing integrations where relevant.
• Train client personnel on Workday Payroll integration methodologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Preferable to hold Workday HCM and Payroll certifications.
• Demonstrated experience working on Workday Payroll integration initiatives, specifically with EIBs, Core Connectors, and Cloud Connect.
• Deep knowledge of human resources and payroll processes including regulatory and compliance frameworks.
• Skilled in Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, and other Workday integration technologies.
• Familiarity with web service protocols (SOAP, REST), XML, XSLT, and related integration standards.
• Strong communication capabilities for effective engagement with clients, stakeholders, and teammates.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment while ensuring timely delivery of quality outputs.
• Excellent problem-solving aptitude combined with rigorous attention to detail.
