Workday HCM Configuration Engineer

Position Overview

This role requires extensive expertise in configuring and managing Workday HCM systems, including a variety of technical and process tasks designed to maintain and enhance enterprise HR functions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Configure core HCM business processes and security settings within Workday.
• Perform complex and straightforward EIB data loads to support HR operations.
• Administer Workday organizational hierarchies, including supervisory organizations, cost centers, locations, and custom organizational units.
• Manage inbox tickets using platforms like JIRA and ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution.
• Create and oversee stories and tasks within JIRA for efficient project tracking.
• Monitor and manage both upstream and downstream integration flows.
• Develop and maintain customized and standard reports within Workday.

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday certifications such as HCM, Compensation, or Security credentials.
• Experience in managing relationships with stakeholders across IT and HR business units.
• Familiarity with Agile pod environments for software development and project management.
