Wireman - Fiber Technician

About the Role

ACT Fibernet is actively recruiting for Field Technicians in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. The company offers multiple field technical positions including Wireman roles which involve handling fiber broadband connections and related electrical tasks. This is a full-time position ideal for freshers and experienced individuals aiming to establish or grow a career in telecom and technical field operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Install and maintain fiber broadband connections including fiber cable laying and wiring.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of connectivity and cable issues on-site.
• Attend customer locations to fulfill installation and service demands.
• Coordinate effectively with team members to ensure timely completion of assigned field work.

Candidate Requirements

• Freshers with up to 1 year of experience or experienced candidates with more than 1 year in related fields.
• Preference given to candidates familiar with fiber optics, wiring, or telecom work.
• Possession of a personal bike is mandatory for travel to customer sites.
• Valid driving license is preferred but not strictly required.
• Willingness and physical fitness to work outdoors and travel extensively in the field.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range for freshers: ₹21,500 to ₹23,000 per month.
• Salary range for experienced candidates: ₹24,000 to ₹29,000 per month.
• Additional bike allowance of ₹1,500 per month for eligible positions.
