About the Position
RACQ is seeking experienced Windscreen Fitters to join its skilled automotive team in multiple Southeast Queensland locations including Lawnton, Eagle Farm, Geebung, Eight Mile Plains, Slacks Creek, Toowoomba, Caloundra, Caboolture, Maroochydore, Bundamba, and the Gold Coast. This is a full-time role involving 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday.
The salary starts at $81,120 per annum plus superannuation and is negotiable depending on experience. As a Windscreen Fitter, you will provide expert mobile windscreen and vehicle glass replacement services, adhering strictly to manufacturer and safety standards while working across diverse vehicle types.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mobile windscreen and auto glass replacements for customers.
- Ensure all repairs conform to manufacturer specifications and safety regulations.
- Operate independently managing assigned service schedules efficiently.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in windscreen fitting, automotive glazing, or a related trade.
- Solid knowledge of vehicle construction and safety procedures.
- Strong ability to work autonomously and handle a mobile work schedule.
- Excellent problem-solving aptitude with commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Customer-centric approach paired with strong communication skills.
- Valid C Class Driver's Licence.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment medical evaluation, drug and alcohol screening, and a criminal background check.
