Role Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Window Installer for a full-time, on-site role based in Kannur. Responsibilities include measuring window openings, preparing installation frames, and fitting aluminium windows and hardware in compliance with project guidelines and safety norms. The position involves using both hand and power tools, ensuring windows are correctly sealed, aligned, and fully operational. Candidates will work closely with supervisors and other team members, read basic technical drawings, maintain neat workspaces, and adhere strictly to safety practices. Additional tasks may include aiding other fabrication processes and professionally interacting with clients and site managers.
Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience with window installation, aluminium fabrication, or general construction.
- Competency in interpreting basic measurements and drawings, coupled with safe operation of hand and power tools.
- High attention to detail, prioritizing precision, quality workmanship, and safety.
- Physical capacity to handle and install window frames and glass, including working at heights as necessary.
- Dependable, punctual, and cooperative with supervisors, coworkers, and clients.
- Openness to learning and adapting to company protocols and regional construction standards.
- Prior aluminium window installation or fabrication experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Fundamental literacy and numeracy skills; vocational training or accreditation in construction or fabrication is favorable.
