Window Fitter specializing in UPVC Installations

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Window Fitter skilled in UPVC installations based in Luton. Join a well-established national company that undertakes insurance-backed repair and replacement projects involving windows, doors, and conservatories. This role offers consistent work throughout the year, not price-driven subcontracting jobs.

Key Duties

• Install and replace UPVC windows and doors as well as conservatories.
• Experience with garage doors is an advantage.
• Safely remove old window and door units with efficiency.
• Accurately measure openings and make necessary adjustments.
• Complete installations to a high-quality finish.
• Maintain clean and professional work sites.
• Handle repair and replacement assignments.
• Support and provide guidance to junior fitters as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven background fitting windows and doors efficiently.
• NVQ Level 2 in Fenestration is desirable but not mandatory.
• Preferred candidates have undergone MTC training.
• Strong health and safety awareness is essential.
• Capable of working independently without close supervision.
• Possession of a full UK driving licence.
