About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Client Director with a strong commitment to fostering client relationships and promoting business expansion. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of commercial clients, provide customized insurance solutions, and support the team in meeting growth objectives for a respected independent insurance brokerage based in Manchester.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and expand a portfolio of commercial clients, delivering expert advice and excellent service.
- Maintain high client retention through proactive relationship management.
- Collaborate with insurers and partners to offer tailored commercial insurance solutions.
- Partner with Development Executives and marketing teams to uncover and secure new business in target sectors.
- Formulate and implement business development strategies to meet growth targets.
- Represent the company at industry events and networking functions.
- Mentor and support Account Executives and junior staff, fostering a cooperative and professional work environment.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrable experience as a Client Director or Senior Account Executive in commercial insurance.
- Specific expertise providing insurance solutions in Construction, Logistics, or Waste Management sectors is preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance products.
- Proven success managing and expanding a sizable book of commercial business.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Certification at Cert CII level or higher is advantageous.

Compensation and Perks
- Competitive salary range between £80,000 and £110,000, supplemented by a bonus scheme.
