Job Overview
We seek a proficient Welder/Fabricator skilled in creating and assembling both temporary and permanent steel or iron frameworks for large-scale events including stages, stalls, and custom-built sets.
Key Duties
- Construct and weld metal frames, trusses, stage props, stall frameworks, and display rigs in line with design requirements.
- Perform precise and safe Arc and MIG welding as well as metal cutting tasks.
- Assemble event structures at venues before events and efficiently dismantle them post-event.
- Guarantee the stability and structural integrity of high-load event installations.
- Collaborate effectively with stage designers, production staff, and site managers.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of two years welding experience, especially relating to events, stage production, or exhibition booth construction.
- Well-versed with Arc welding, MIG welding, cutting torches, and angle grinders.
- Capability to work under demanding and time-sensitive event schedules, including flexible and overnight site work.
- Comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols pertinent to temporary event constructions.
Compensation and Terms
The monthly remuneration for this role ranges between 13,000 to 15,000 INR.
