Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-centric Weighbridge Administrator to join the Wingfield Yard team. This role serves as the primary point of contact for drivers, suppliers, and customers entering the site. The position involves accurately processing scrap metal transactions, managing vendor payments, handling weighbridge documentation, and maintaining financial records. It's a dynamic role combining administrative duties, customer service, cash handling, and operational assistance in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service to drivers, customers, and visitors.
• Operate and maintain weighbridge equipment with precise record-keeping.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to bulk shipping and logistics.
• Provide safety information and site navigation guidance to visitors to ensure yard safety.
• Validate material descriptions, weights, and transaction details before processing.
• Identify and report hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditions promptly.
• Support stocktake activities and additional operational tasks as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Exceptional accuracy in data entry and strong numeracy capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact well with others.
• Proactive, dependable, and has a collaborative mindset.
• Organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.

Desirable Qualifications

Previous experience operating a weighbridge is advantageous but not essential as comprehensive training will be provided.
