- Expertise in REST and SOAP APIs, handling data formats such as JSON, XML/XSLT, flat files, and working with JDBC/SAP or other adapters.
- Familiarity with messaging middleware, specifically Universal Messaging or Broker, leveraging pub/sub and ensuring guaranteed message delivery.
- Experience using webMethods API Gateway or API Portal solutions.
- Proficient in deployment and DevOps processes, including use of Deployer, Git version control, CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps, and environment management.
- Strong skills in error handling, logging, monitoring, and performance tuning within production environments.
- Effective communicator capable of liaising directly with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Must have Australian work rights and availability to commence within two weeks.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Workato (recipes, connectors, certifications) or alternative iPaaS platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Azure Integration Services.
- Prior involvement in migration of integration platforms.
- Knowledge of retail or e-commerce systems integrations including POS, order management, inventory, ERP (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP), warehouse management systems, and supplier EDI.
