About the Role

A partner company is seeking a Web3 Product Manager based in Ireland for a fully remote position. This role involves leading the management and expansion of a crypto-focused product portfolio. You will be responsible for driving product discovery, strategic planning, and execution for user-centered Web3 applications.

The position requires combining product leadership skills with practical knowledge of payments, e-commerce, and blockchain environments. Collaboration with cross-functional teams in engineering, design, compliance, marketing, support, and operations is essential. The focus is on crafting products based on genuine user behavior and needs rather than following fleeting market trends.

The role offers significant autonomy over product lifecycle decisions—from initial research and specification through launch, adoption, and iterative improvement. The working environment is fast-paced, remote-first, highly collaborative, and results-oriented with an emphasis on delivering measurable impact for users and business alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead product discovery, strategy development, planning, prioritization, and delivery of user-facing crypto-native products and features.
• Perform direct user research with cryptocurrency users to grasp workflows, pain points, workarounds, and expectations.
• Convert user and business requirements into clear product specifications, acceptance criteria, and actionable roadmaps.
• Manage product backlogs and collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to deliver complete products.
• Make decisions on blockchain networks, wallets, and protocols founded on product data, user behaviors, and practical considerations—avoiding hype.
• Coordinate initiatives across engineering, design, compliance, marketing, support, and operations divisions.
• Represent the product at crypto community forums, industry gatherings, and conferences.
• Analyze product performance and continuously enhance the user experience focusing on adoption, conversion, retention, revenue, and feedback.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 6 to 8+ years of product management experience, preferably in payments, e-commerce, consumer tech, or fintech, with full ownership of user-facing products from concept to delivery.
• Proven track record in launching products that gained substantial user adoption and real business results.
• Strong background in e-commerce or payments combined with 1 to 3 years of hands-on Web3 experience.
• Minimum of 3 years managing end-to-end user-facing product ownership.
• Deep practical understanding of payment and checkout processes.
• Knowledgeable about DeFi topics such as vaults, collateralized borrowing, bridging, and gas fees.
• Experience with wallet technologies across desktop and mobile platforms, including user onboarding, transactional flows, and trust dynamics.
• Excellent product judgment with strong UX insight, capable of balancing speed, quality, usability, and business outcomes.
• Adept at decomposing complex challenges into manageable incremental releases and working confidently in ambiguous contexts.
• Experienced collaborating effectively with distributed teams across time zones and remote-first asynchronous settings.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management and facilitation to align engineering, design, and business units.
• Superior written communication abilities including crafting product specs, decision documents, and regular asynchronous updates.
• A pragmatic perspective: skeptical of hype, curious about genuine user patterns, and focused on delivering pragmatic, valuable products instead of oversized projects.
