About Chamber X and Role Overview
Chamber X partners with Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) and e-commerce brands to provide strategic services encompassing advertising, SEO, creative direction, and website development. Central to our engagement is building robust, scalable websites that serve as the foundation for client growth. We seek a dedicated Shopify Developer based at our Defence Colony, New Delhi office to spearhead these efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and launch Shopify e-commerce stores from initial theme setup to live deployment.
- Customize themes using Liquid templating, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create unique brand-aligned storefronts beyond standard templates.
- Configure essential store elements including products, collections, navigation menus, payment options (including Cash on Delivery), shipping logistics, taxes, and checkout workflows.
- Implement and manage store functionalities by installing apps for reviews, upselling, COD handling, and checkout enhancements.
- Set up comprehensive tracking mechanisms including Meta Pixel, Conversions API, Google Analytics 4, and Google Tag Manager.
- Optimize store performance focusing on mobile responsiveness and conversion rate improvements.
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs, maintain live sites, and produce straightforward documentation for handovers.
- Collaborate closely with designers, media buyers, and SEO specialists to ensure site functionality supports advertising and search engine optimization strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum two years of professional Shopify development experience with demonstrable live store projects.
- Proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for theme development and customization.
- Experience using Shopify Online Store 2.0 themes including creating custom sections.
- Familiarity with Indian payment gateways, Cash on Delivery processes, and courier integration.
- Insight into page speed optimization, mobile user experience, and factors influencing e-commerce conversions.
- Basic understanding of on-page SEO elements such as meta tags, URL structuring, redirects, and implementing structured data.
- Clear communication skills and ability to adhere to deadlines.
Desirable Experience
- Experience with Shopify Plus or Hydrogen frameworks.
- Knowledge of conversion rate optimization techniques and A/B testing methodologies.
- Ability to develop lead-generation landing pages, particularly relevant for sectors like real estate.
- Skilled in translating designs from tools like Figma into functional Shopify themes.
Initial Expectations
Within the first three months, you will be responsible for launching initial Shopify stores, accurately setting up tracking systems, and achieving optimal site speed and mobile usability scores that align with our media buying and SEO objectives.

- Salary Range: ₹20,000 to ₹30,000 per month, contingent on experience and performance.
