Role Overview

The Web Design Specialist will work remotely full-time, responsible for crafting and maintaining visually engaging and user-friendly websites within FSVMH’s digital platforms. Daily tasks encompass designing and updating site layouts, ensuring responsive designs compatible across various devices, and collaborating with stakeholders to convert business needs into seamless user interfaces. The role requires close cooperation with developers and brand managers to maintain visual consistency, optimize web performance, and improve user experience. The specialist will also prepare design resources, participate in design evaluations, iterate based on feedback, and keep up with evolving best practices in contemporary web and interface design.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Web Design and Responsive Web Design to build modern, mobile-optimized interfaces.
  • Skills in Front-End Development, including HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript, to implement and fine-tune designs.
  • Competence in Graphic Design to create visual content aligned with brand standards.
  • Proficiency in User Interface Design to develop intuitive, accessible, and cohesive user journeys.
  • Experience working remotely within cross-functional teams and managing several projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Familiarity with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalents, alongside version control practices.
  • Knowledge of accessibility guidelines, UX principles, and methods for enhancing website performance is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or similar fields, or equivalent professional experience.
