About the Role
The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) is a premier air defense force committed to safeguarding Singapore and its interests across a broad range of operations from peace to conflict, working as a unified branch of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). Take the coveted position of Weapon Systems Officer (Fighter), where you will operate and control weapons, navigation, and electronic warfare systems in fighter aircraft. This role requires development of exceptional mental toughness, concentrated focus, and heightened combat instincts that benefit not only your aerial missions but life outside the cockpit as well. This position is offered under the Enhanced Officers Scheme (EOS).
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate as a Weapon Systems Officer managing complex and critical operational missions aboard fighter aircraft.
- Perform ongoing continuation and proficiency training covering multiple aspects of military aviation relevant to your role during peacetime.
- Provide supervision, instruction, and management to aircrews under your leadership.
Required Qualifications and Eligibility
- Possess a degree, diploma, or advanced level education such as 'A' Level or International Baccalaureate (IB) certificate.
- Meet specific vision standards: less than 800 degrees of myopia per eye and less than 300 degrees of astigmatism per eye.
- Medical status classified as PES A or B1.
