Role Overview

The Wash/Lot Attendant at Southside Nissan plays a crucial role in supporting sales operations by maintaining vehicle inventory in pristine, display-ready condition. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role ensures an exceptional customer experience through the proper presentation, organization, and upkeep of all vehicles and dealership grounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep all vehicle inventory clean, orderly, and ready for display.
• Fully detail and prepare vehicles for customer delivery.
• Regularly start vehicles to detect any operational issues, including dead batteries, and recharge as necessary.
• Arrange vehicles neatly and orderly throughout the lot.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the lot, delivery areas, and workspaces by removing trash and debris.
• Ensure delivery spaces are free from other vehicles or obstructions.
• Organize and store supplies at the end of each day.
• Clear snow and ice from vehicles and dealership access points during winter for safety.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management to support the dealership.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid British Columbia Driver’s License.
• Ability to provide a current ICBC Driver’s Abstract.
• Capability to operate dealership equipment and vehicles safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to work professionally and collaboratively with colleagues across departments.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada.

Compensation

The role offers an hourly pay range from $18.25 to $20.00.
