About the Role
Aramark Ireland is hiring full-time Wash Up Assistants for their client site located in Cork. This role requires full flexibility to work 5 days out of every 7, covering a 39-hour workweek. Shift times may vary based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure strict adherence to food hygiene standards, especially HACCP regulations.
- Verify incoming food deliveries to guarantee only top-quality produce enters the units.
- Maintain compliance with food storage hygiene rules and apply the FIFO stock rotation method.
- Carry out cleaning tasks related to service equipment and associated furniture.
- Prepare and maintain service areas and points for operation.
- Properly store food items and equipment post-service.
- Uphold company guidelines for personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform at all times.
- Support and enforce the organization’s health and safety policies.
- Monitor and document temperatures of food and equipment consistently.
- Assist other kitchen units within the site during less busy hospitality periods.
- Identify and report any safety risks within the kitchen and surrounding areas to management.
- Perform additional duties as delegated by the line manager to ensure smooth departmental operations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated interest in food service and hospitality.
- Prior experience working in hospitality or kitchen settings.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team.
- Solid understanding of Food Hygiene practices including HACCP standards.
- Proficient in English communication.
