Warehouse Supervisor

Role Purpose

Ensure consistent availability of laboratory supplies by managing accurate receipt, secure storage, thorough inventory tracking, and prompt distribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods aligned to approved purchase orders, confirming quantities, conditions, and necessary documentation.
• Store materials adhering to security protocols, segregation norms, and environmental guidelines.
• Maintain traceability using batch, lot, and expiry data while applying FEFO (First Expired, First Out) and FIFO (First In, First Out) methods.
• Conduct stock audits, reconcile inventory differences, and escalate any shortages appropriately.
• Pick, issue, transfer, and return supplies precisely and promptly.
• Coordinate replenishment and urgent supply needs with operational teams and procurement.
• Keep the warehouse organized, safe, and prepared for audits.
• Document and minimize incidents such as damaged, expired, or nonconforming stock, supporting corrective measures as needed.
• Maintain accurate record-keeping and promptly escalate issues as required.
• Complete all mandatory training and competency requirements.
• Engage in audit activities, corrective & preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Exemplify accountability, teamwork, and respectful service in all duties.

Technical and Professional Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications and experience matching the job level are essential.
• Familiarity with appropriate systems, procedures, safety protocols, and document control processes.
• Strong focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and effective communication with stakeholders.
• Possession of any role-specific licenses or certifications as required.
• Preferred experience includes work in healthcare, diagnostic laboratories, or regulated service environments.
• Additional preferred qualifications include quality, safety, supervisory, or technical training relevant to the warehouse role.
• Experience with digital workflows, including Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), Radiology Information Systems / Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (RIS/PACS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), or inventory tracking technology is advantageous.
