About the Role
The Warehouse Supervisor at Fabo Services plays a critical role in managing comprehensive warehouse operations within the company’s franchise network. The position demands responsibility for ensuring prompt availability and dispatch of a wide range of items including machines, chemicals, consumables, uniforms, packaging materials, spare parts, and marketing collateral. It emphasizes maintaining accurate inventory records, controlling costs, enforcing safety standards, and collaborating effectively with teams across procurement, logistics, finance, and franchise operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal inventory levels using forecast data to meet demand efficiently.
- Guarantee complete inventory accuracy through ongoing cycle counts and stock audits.
- Monitor stock conditions including ageing, slow-moving, and obsolete items, applying first-in-first-out and first-expiry-first-out procedures where applicable.
- Effectively manage all warehouse processes such as receiving, quality checks, storage, order picking, packaging, and dispatching.
- Ensure appropriate storage conditions, particularly for sensitive items like chemicals and consumables.
- Design and implement warehouse layouts to maximize material flow efficiency.
- Uphold cleanliness, safety, and compliance requirements within the warehouse environment.
- Oversee timely shipping coordination of goods to franchise stores nationwide and track deliveries to completion, addressing logistics challenges promptly.
- Maintain precise records of inventory movements in ERP or inventory management systems and produce routine reports.
- Collaborate with procurement by raising purchase requests, verifying supplier deliveries, and reporting any shortages or issues.
- Lead and manage warehouse personnel, delegate tasks, provide training on standard operating procedures and safety, and conduct performance assessments.
- Enforce compliance with safety protocols and conduct regular inspections to sustain fire and safety standards.
- Drive cost efficiencies by minimizing inventory holding costs, reducing losses and damages, optimizing warehouse productivity, space utilization, and freight expenses.
Compensation
The monthly remuneration for this position ranges from INR 25,000 to INR 30,000.
