Warehouse Supervisor

About the Role

The Warehouse Supervisor will play a crucial role in supporting daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities. This role demands maintaining accurate inventory documentation, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and assisting with continuous operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily warehouse functions such as receiving goods, storage, order picking, packing, and dispatching shipments.
• Maintain precise inventory records and help conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Keep track of inventory levels and promptly notify the Warehouse Manager about any irregularities or shortages.
• Ensure that all incoming and outgoing shipment documentation is properly maintained.
• Adhere strictly to standard operating procedures to guarantee safety and quality compliance.
• Operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts or pallet jacks, with provided training as needed.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement efforts aimed at maximizing warehouse space utilization and operational efficiency.
• Help maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe warehouse environment free from hazards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have completed a high school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics or supply chain management are advantageous.
• Possess 1 to 3 years of experience working in warehouse operations, preferably within retail or FMCG sectors.
• Basic understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
• Effective communication skills with an ability to collaborate well in a team environment.
• Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
