About the Role

Join DSV, a global leader in transport and logistics, as a Warehouse Operator based in Naas, County Kildare, Ireland. This full-time, onsite position involves 39 hours per week from Monday to Friday. Your role is essential in ensuring the safe, precise, and efficient handling of international and domestic cargo, contributing directly to the reliability of our supply chains.

Main Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and manage import, export, and domestic freight securely and efficiently.
• Inspect incoming cargo and document conditions accurately, reporting any damage or inconsistencies according to company procedures.
• Maintain accurate warehouse records and complete all necessary documentation.
• Conduct visual checks and pre-use inspections of mechanical handling equipment, promptly reporting any issues.
• Evaluate trailers prior to loading to confirm safety and suitability for operation.
• Prepare detailed loading and unloading manifests and related paperwork; full training provided.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety protocols including compliance with IMDG and ADR standards, with required training offered.
• Comply with company policies related to security, quality, and operations.
• Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe.
• Exemplify accountability, reliability, and punctuality.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet customer expectations and service standards.

Requirements and Desired Skills

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Certificate is mandatory.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations is advantageous.
• Experience with import, export, or domestic freight handling is preferred.
• Proficient communication skills in English, both oral and written.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Ability to operate independently and show initiative.
• Capability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
• Customer-oriented with a dedication to high service quality.
• Dependable with a strong focus on safety and responsibility.
