Job Overview
Truemeds is seeking dedicated and energetic Warehouse Operations Executives to join their team at the Dhulagarh warehouse in Kolkata, West Bengal. This full-time position involves overseeing various daily warehouse functions including picking, packing, inward stock verification, inventory management, and handling vendor returns while ensuring accuracy and efficiency within warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately select medicines and products as outlined by system-generated orders, verifying details such as product name, quantity, batch number, and expiry date to reduce errors.
- Execute precise packing of orders adhering to company standards, confirming product details and ensuring secure packaging and correct labeling to prevent damage or mismatches during transport.
- Conduct thorough inward checking of incoming vendor stock against invoices and system records, reviewing quantities, batch information, expiry dates, packaging conditions, and identifying any discrepancies or damages.
- Manage the process of vendor returns by identifying return-eligible products, reconfirming product specifics, preparing returns according to company protocols, and collaborating with relevant teams to update systems and documentation accurately.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and discipline, comply with all safety and procedural guidelines, and assist in inventory counting and stock reconciliations.
- Work closely with supervisors and other warehouse personnel to ensure smooth daily operations while meeting assigned productivity and accuracy benchmarks.
- Report any stock discrepancies, damages, or operational concerns promptly to supervisors and be adaptable to various warehouse tasks depending on business needs.
Candidate Profile
- Experience ranging from fresher to 2 years in warehouse, logistics, e-commerce, retail, FMCG, pharmacy, or associated sectors is preferred; candidates eager to learn are also welcome.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse functions and inventory control processes.
- Familiarity with basic computer operations and system usage.
- Strong attention to detail with the capability to perform tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts including nights for business needs.
Workplace Location
The position is based at Truemeds Warehouse located in Dhulagarh, Kolkata, West Bengal.
