Role Overview

The Warehouse Operation Specialist role based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, involves managing and facilitating various warehouse processes to ensure efficient distribution and stock control.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in administering warehouse operations, including manual handling plans and procedures.
• Receive, sort, and manage inbound/outbound cargo, materials, and supplies according to scheduled protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Confirm accuracy of cargo receipt and release with appropriate documentation.
• Manually load and unload items using pallets, trays, racks, and shelves; ensure proper storage in designated areas.
• Load cargo into vehicles, trucks, or containers, employing hand tools for securing loads with strapping, bracing, and padding.
• Coordinate cargo movements complying with regulations and update shipment statuses accordingly.
• Support stock audits, reconcile discrepancies, and monitor order processing turnaround times.
• Maintain and update inventory records, ensuring stock levels remain within prescribed minimum and maximum counts.
• Enter data accurately into computerized systems, including logs, packing lists, invoices, transfer tickets, and other shipment documents.
• Ensure raw materials reach production zones and document finished goods entries; prepare necessary reports.
• Guide proper cargo handling including receiving, picking, bulking, packing, and order processing to meet specifications.
• Identify recurring operational challenges and suggest workflow improvements to enhance efficiency, speed, and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide mentorship or training to less experienced colleagues as needed.
• Manage warehouse and distribution activities related to movement, tools, and packaging tasks.
• Package shipments according to defined standards.
• Inspect and scan goods against shipment records.
• Oversee transshipment and sorting processes within sorting centers.
• Operate forklifts (gas or electric powered) for moving, stacking, loading, or unloading goods.
• Consolidate shipments and handle unit load devices.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of two years relevant experience in warehouse operations or logistics.
• Bachelor's degree required.
