Warehouse Manager

About the Role

Eyantram Waste Management (P) Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations at their warehouse in Santoshpur, Kolkata. The candidate will supervise both warehouse laborers and technical teams, ensuring smooth workflows and adherence to company procedures, particularly in storage, refurbishment, and recycling.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and maintain seamless workflow at the Santoshpur facility.
• Handle recruitment, onboarding, and training of warehouse labor and operations staff to maintain a skilled workforce.
• Supervise warehouse laborers and technical employees, consistently monitoring their productivity and work quality.
• Maintain accurate inventory control through precise stock recording and systematic reconciliation.
• Ensure all materials entering and leaving the warehouse are documented correctly and efficiently.
• Manage overall facility administration, including housekeeping, maintenance, and ensuring discipline within the warehouse environment.
• Establish and enforce standardized standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to storage, material handling, refurbishing, and recycling activities.
• Ensure proper segregation and storage of materials according to company guidelines and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the Lifting In-charge during lifting operations, monitoring productivity and safety compliance.
• Prepare and present regular operational and productivity reports to management for ongoing performance assessment.
• Identify inefficiencies and operational gaps, implementing improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and accountability.

Qualifications & Experience

• A bachelor's degree in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related disciplines is required.
• Possess between 2 to 4 years of professional experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, or similar fields.
• Demonstrated experience leading warehouse teams, managing both labor and technical personnel.
• In-depth knowledge of inventory management, documentation protocols, and warehouse operational processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with inventory or ERP software systems is preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, coordination, and problem-solving capabilities are essential.
• Prior experience in recycling, e-waste management, reverse logistics, or environmental services would be advantageous.

Additional Information

The position is full-time, based in the environmental services sector, with workplace located in Santoshpur, Kolkata.

Salary

The monthly compensation ranges from ₹15,000 to ₹30,000.
