Role Overview

The Warehouse Associate at our Athlone facility is responsible for executing daily warehouse operations in compliance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Emphasis is placed on safety, quality, and supporting the operational readiness of our manufacturing site during night shift hours.

Work Schedule

This is a fixed-term contract position working night shifts from Sunday night through Friday mornings, with hours totaling 37.5 per week across 12-hour shifts following a 12x5 schedule.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily warehouse tasks while maintaining full GMP compliance.
  • Ensure all trainings, especially safety-related, are current for equipment, processes, and facilities.
  • Maintain adherence to SOPs, company policies, and GMP standards as part of the warehouse's quality system.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they occur.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the Dispensary area, including material sampling activities.
  • Execute routine transfers of dispensed materials to the manufacturing floor.
  • Carry out regular inspections of materials in accordance with set procedures to support manufacturing timelines.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, propose and implement approved strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Validation, Engineering and Quality departments as needed.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new or junior warehouse associates.
  • Report regularly to warehouse leadership on performance metrics and issue resolution.
  • Draft and update SOPs, forms, and job descriptions to reflect operational needs.
  • Monitor and initiate deviation reports, perform investigations, and ensure timely closure.
  • Represent the warehouse in cross-functional meetings and projects.
  • Uphold company core competencies and values.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrable experience working in a warehouse environment within a cGMP-regulated commercial manufacturing setting.
  • Familiarity and proficiency with inventory management software such as SAP or similar platforms.
  • Competent use of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and GMP standards.

Desired Qualifications

  • Training and certification in IATA and ADR to support shipping samples.
  • Educational background in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management is advantageous.
