Role Overview

As a Warehouse Associate, you will gradually learn core warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, light assembly, and area maintenance, adhering to all safety and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Complete local safety orientation and follow safety/security policies.
  • Assist and observe experienced warehouse staff in verifying inbound supplies, customer and branch returns, and processing order receipts.
  • Organize received materials into their correct storage locations after addressing backorders.
  • Maintain logs for inbound overages, shortages, damages, or non-compliant items.
  • Use manual or RF systems to pick, pack, weigh, and ship products under supervision.
  • Help with packing, labeling, wrapping, and loading/unloading trucks.
  • Manage local delivery records and complete picking documentation.
  • Support credit issuance processes by confirming return policy adherence.
  • Handle stock returns pending credit memos, sales, or supplier returns.
  • Learn wire cutting and spooling techniques.
  • Maintain counter inventory and assist with customer service tasks.
  • Receive progressive training to operate forklifts and pallet jacks.

Requirements

  • Willingness and ability to follow directions accurately.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow in the warehouse environment.
  • Physical capability to lift loads up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Warehouse-based work with moderate noise, good lighting, and ventilation.
  • May require wearing protective gear and exposure to various weather conditions.
  • Physically demanding tasks involving lifting, bending, stooping, and repetitive walking.
  • Use of hand tools and operation of heavy equipment under strict safety guidelines.
