Role Overview
This full-time position based at Punggol requires the Warehouse Assistant to manage everyday warehouse tasks such as receiving shipments, sorting and packing products, and maintaining organized storage areas. The role also involves supporting inventory activities, conducting stock verifications, updating records, managing stock movement, and replenishment. Candidates may operate warehouse machinery, like forklifts (with valid certification if applicable), prepare goods for dispatch, and coordinate internally to meet delivery schedules. Maintaining safety compliance, cleanliness, and providing basic customer service when interacting with clients or delivery partners are also important responsibilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience or aptitude in packing and general warehouse handling activities.
- Knowledge of inventory control and management techniques.
- Forklift operation skills are advantageous; possession of a valid forklift license is a plus.
- Capability in customer service and effective communication with clients and partners.
- Physical fitness to perform lifting, prolonged standing, and moving tasks.
- Meticulous attention to detail, dependable, and adherence to operational procedures.
- Previous exposure to warehouse or logistics environments is preferred but not a requirement.
- Readiness to work full-time onsite in Punggol and collaborate productively with team members from various backgrounds.
