Warehouse and Customer Service Associate

Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable individual to join our team in Greater Tauranga as a Warehouse and Customer Service Associate. This role focuses on supporting daily warehouse operations involving manual handling of gas cylinders and related equipment while providing excellent internal and external customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely handling, moving, dispatching, and receipting gas cylinders and associated equipment
• Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for delivery or collection
• Ensuring accurate stock records and maintaining a clean, safe working space
• Helping customers with inquiries, managing phone orders, and facilitating over-the-counter sales

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated strong customer service abilities with a professional and helpful demeanor
• Physical fitness suitable for frequent manual labor and lifting heavy items
• Possession of a current OSH Forklift Licence is preferred, though not mandatory
• Basic to intermediate proficiency with computers for order processing and stock management
• Strong dedication to workplace safety and adherence to proper manual handling procedures

Working Conditions and Benefits

• Full-time position with hours Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (42.5 hours weekly)
