Position Overview

The Warden will oversee the discipline and well-being of students residing in the hostel, ensuring a safe and hygienic living environment. This role involves managing student activities, monitoring attendance and movement, and coordinating with various stakeholders to maintain smooth hostel operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students to maintain discipline within the hostel premises.
• Coordinate and oversee daily student routines including meals, study hours, and activities.
• Track student attendance and regulate their in-time and out-time movements.
• Enforce adherence to the hostel’s rules and regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in rooms, common areas, washrooms, and surroundings.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and support personnel to keep the hostel clean.
• Address day-to-day concerns raised by students and provide necessary assistance.
• Ensure student safety, reporting any emergencies or serious incidents promptly to relevant authorities.
• Keep detailed records of hostel activities, incidents, visitor logs, and student movement.
• Manage visitor access and student entry and exit according to policy.
• Engage and coordinate with management, teachers, parents or guardians, and other staff members as needed.
• Perform frequent inspections of hostel facilities and report maintenance needs.
• Guarantee compliance with hostel timings, cleanliness criteria, and code of conduct.
• Support overall efficient and secure daily hostel operations.
