Situated overlooking Kensington Gardens, the hotel will feature 67 rooms and suites, alongside renowned venues like Lana Lusa, the Rose Bar, Rose Lounge, and The Source wellness center. Role Overview

We are looking for an outstanding Waiter or Waitress to be part of the pre-opening team at Delano London, primarily positioned within Lana Lusa, our all-day dining restaurant. Your role will be pivotal in delivering a seamless guest experience by providing warm, attentive table service supported by thorough product knowledge and a personable approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service from arrival to departure.
• Develop a strong understanding of menu items, ingredients, allergens, and preparation to guide guests effectively.
• Accurately take orders, offer suitable recommendations, and use your knowledge to elevate the guest experience and increase average spend.
• Manage your assigned section meticulously, focusing on timing, table upkeep, guest check-backs, and cues.
• Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff, bartenders, runners, and managers to ensure smooth service and order accuracy.
• Prepare and maintain your section’s presentation, cleanliness, and mise en place before and during service.
• Identify and communicate any allergies, dietary needs, special celebrations, VIPs, or requests to relevant teams.
• Handle point-of-sale transactions and payments with precision, adhering to cash and company policies.
• Constructively respond to guest feedback, escalating issues to senior staff as needed.
• Provide support to Private Dining, Room Service, Rose Bar, or other Food & Beverage outlets as required.
• Observe food safety guidelines, health and safety regulations, and all standards related to service.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in a premium restaurant, luxury hotel, or a high-caliber hospitality environment is preferred, though a strong attitude and eagerness to succeed are equally valued.
• Exude warmth, confidence, and natural attentiveness with a sincere passion for hospitality and engaging with people.
• Have an enthusiasm for learning about food, wines, and beverages, and enjoy sharing this knowledge in a natural, unscripted way.
• Be organized, agile, and capable of managing multiple demands without losing composure.
• Demonstrate teamwork and clear communication, with a keen attention to detail.
• Be available for flexible shifts including breakfast, evenings, weekends, and peak hospitality periods.
