Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Waiter to join the front-of-house team at Arcade Covent Garden. This lively environment offers exposure to global cuisine kitchens and dynamic service, perfect for a hospitality professional eager to contribute to an exciting dining destination in London.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage restaurant opening and closing procedures efficiently.
• Support and mentor junior staff to foster their development.
• Engage with guests confidently and professionally to ensure excellent service.
• Deliver consistent, high-quality hospitality service with enthusiasm and a friendly attitude.
• Take orders, serve food and beverages, and offer menu suggestions.
• Maintain smooth operations in a fast-moving service environment.
• Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar teams.
• Oversee cleaning schedules, records, and checklists to maintain standards.
• Adhere strictly to Food Safety and Health & Safety guidelines.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of two years’ experience as a waiter in a similar high-volume London restaurant setting.
• Proven ability to thrive in demanding, high-paced restaurant environments.
• Strong passion for food, hospitality, and delivering memorable guest interactions.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Excellent team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to remain calm, confident, and multi-task under pressure.
• Warm, approachable demeanor that fosters positive connections with guests and colleagues.
