Job Overview
The role involves the setup and operation of VTL CNC machines with specific expertise in Okuma VMC/HMC equipment. Responsibilities include programming, operating, daily inspections, and troubleshooting to ensure machines perform optimally and produce quality output.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate VTL CNC machines, including programming and machine setup using Okuma VMC/HMC systems.
- Conduct daily machine inspections to maintain high operational standards and identify improvements.
- Create programs for VTL CNC machines using G-code or similar programming languages.
- Oversee machine processes during production to guarantee adherence to quality specifications.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical or operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Possess 4 to 8 years of practical experience working with VTL CNC machinery, ideally in an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) setting with Okuma systems.
- Hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Tool and Die Making from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrate ability to interpret technical drawings and comprehensive understanding of manufacturing workflows.
