Role Overview

The Visual Merchandiser position at our Mile End store requires someone dedicated and enthusiastic, ready to add substantial value to the store environment. This role involves maintaining and implementing Adairs' visual merchandising standards, restocking and designing displays that align with current trends and promotions, and creatively arranging fixtures to keep the store appealing and customer-friendly without overcrowding. You will play a key role in creating an inviting atmosphere that tells a compelling story and drives sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and execute the store’s visual merchandising standards specifically for the Mile End location.
• Restock merchandise and design displays in line with current trends and promotional campaigns.
• Use store fixtures innovatively to ensure product presentation is attractive yet uncluttered.
• Create an engaging store environment that welcomes customers and supports increased sales.

Qualifications and Expectations

• Proven experience and success in visual merchandising, preferably within the homewares sector.
• A proactive and positive attitude ready to go above and beyond to achieve exceptional outcomes.
• Strong understanding of visual merchandising best practices.
• Physically capable of tasks including climbing ladders frequently without concern for heights.
• Demonstrated creative flair with attention to detail, while maintaining consistency throughout the store’s aesthetic.
• Possession of a current driver's license.
