Job description

Role Overview

As a Visual Merchandiser at our Chadstone store, you will be crucial in establishing a captivating and uniform shopping atmosphere. Your role involves applying visual standards and promoting commercial success by executing styling strategies aligned with our store's guidelines and timelines, ultimately enhancing customer engagement and boosting sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement visual displays, styling choices, and commercial arrangements that adhere to store guidelines and schedule to enrich the shopping experience and increase revenue.
  • Monitor sales trends, manage inventory levels, maintain garment condition, and prioritize opportunities in partnership with Store Management.
  • Leverage your understanding of trends and competitors to mentor and develop store personnel, empowering them to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain a professional and brand-positive demeanor during all customer interactions.
  • Assist the Sales Market team with store expansion initiatives.

Collaboration Environment

You will be part of an energetic Store Team that includes Sales Advisors, Department and Store Managers, Visual Merchandisers, Assistant Store Managers, and others who together create a welcoming and inspirational space. Cross-store collaboration with the broader Area Team will also be key to share insights and collectively foster success. Your contributions will support customers in expressing themselves with current trends and classic styles, making fashion accessible and sustainable.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in visual merchandising and commercial operations within a dynamic environment, coupled with a solution-focused approach.
  • Expertise in analyzing and acting on sales data and understanding the sales equation.
  • A passion for fashion and a dedication to delivering outstanding in-store customer experiences.
  • Motivated to enhance customer engagement and actively drive sales achievements.
  • Creative, inquisitive, and proactive in approach.
  • Effective communicators who inspire and lead store teams towards shared goals.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and action-oriented individuals.
