This position offers an hourly starting wage between $25.00 and $27.00, with a full range extending to $42.50 per hour dependent on multiple factors including labor markets, education, experience, and certifications. About the Role

The Visual Merchandiser plays a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience by applying company merchandising standards to create visually compelling displays that drive sales. This includes expertise in styling mannequins, fixture placement, in-store marketing integration, and mapping.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and plan daily and weekly visual merchandising tasks aligned with sales targets, promotions, and events.
  • Perform weekly visual compliance assessments and partner with leadership to improve store presentation and guest experience.
  • Monitor and guide adherence to store-wide visual standards, elevating merchandise presentation quality.
  • Support the implementation of the company’s visual merchandising strategies and in-store marketing materials.
  • Ensure accurate execution of visual presentations alongside leadership collaboration.
  • Adjust spotlighting to highlight important merchandise features.
  • Address merchandising challenges and update displays to maintain appealing presentations.
  • Use team huddles for training on visual standards, signage, pricing strategies, and inspiring displays.
  • Maintain organized backroom storage and update visual materials as needed.
  • Assist with onboarding and ongoing training to enhance team skills in visual merchandising.
  • Promote diversity, inclusivity, ethical conduct, safety, and compliance throughout work activities.
  • Create positive guest interactions during daily tasks and assist with inquiries, ensuring warm customer service.
  • Perform additional duties as required by business needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 to 2 years of visual merchandising experience.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Business knowledge including margin and profitability principles and a creative flair aligned with brand standards.
  • Leadership skills to guide teams in process and standard adherence.
  • Proficiency with communication devices and handheld technology as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing workloads effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, helpful attitude.
  • Capability to maintain focus under pressure and multitask effectively within deadlines.

Physical and Other Requirements

  • Access to all store areas to resolve guest or team issues.
  • Operation of work assist vehicles and pallet jacks.
  • Ability to interpret instructions and manage cash register operations as needed.
  • Comfortable climbing ladders and handling merchandise, frequently lifting up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds without assistance.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality with flexible availability.
  • Ability to remain on feet and mobile throughout variable shift durations.
