Vinyl Floor Fitter

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Vinyl Floor Fitter to become part of our expanding team in Glasgow. This role involves working predominantly in residential properties, focusing on the installation, maintenance, and replacement of vinyl flooring products while upholding the highest quality, safety, and customer service standards.

Primary Duties

• Accurately measure, prepare, and fit vinyl flooring in both occupied and vacant homes
• Expertly install sheet vinyl, safety flooring, and vinyl tiles
• Prepare subfloors thoroughly, including smoothing and levelling where necessary
• Remove old flooring materials and ensure safe disposal of waste
• Conduct repairs and replace damaged sections of flooring
• Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines at all times
• Maintain detailed records of all completed tasks
• Deliver exceptional service and professionalism when interacting with residents

Requirements and Experience

• Demonstrable experience fitting vinyl floors in domestic or commercial settings
• Proficiency in installing sheet vinyl, cap and cove flooring, and vinyl tiles
• Meticulous attention to detail and dedication to high-quality workmanship
• Effective communication abilities coupled with solid customer service skills
• Possession of a full UK driving licence
• Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
• Knowledgeable about subfloor preparation and the application of levelling compounds
