Role Overview

Join the welcoming team at Possum Bourne Retirement Village in Pukekohe, Auckland, as a full-time Village Lifestyle Coordinator. This role involves organizing and leading engaging, inclusive, and person-centred activities designed to boost resident wellbeing, foster connections, and enhance quality of life through customized programs and events.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the ambassador of fun, creativity, and enjoyment within the community.
• Ensure that residents experience superior wellbeing and social connection through innovative and appealing activities.
• Plan and facilitate participation in activities specifically for Independent Residents to encourage active involvement and enjoyment.
• Collaborate closely with the Activities Team as well as other village departments and functions.

Working Hours

• Monday: 09:00 - 16:00
• Tuesday: 10:00 - 16:00
• Wednesday: 09:00 - 16:00
• Thursday: 10:00 - 17:00
• Friday: 10:00 - 16:00

• Exemplify strong empathy and understanding towards older adults.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal.
